Meeting called to order by Vice President, Lauren Behrens, 8:15pm 1) Luau - asked for volunteers and passed around a sign-up sheet. Anyone that hasn't signed up for a task and would like to help, please contact Missy. Tickets are $25 and available at the Snack Shop and the corner shop in Malvern in addition to Missy and Cathy. Please encourage friends and family to get tickets early. The menu was discussed, cooking method, and the DJ. 2) Blood Drive - Lauren reported that 19 people have donated in the club's name for earnings of $300. At the 20th person, we move to $500. If anyone can make it, they are still accepting donors. Thanks to all that donated and those that tried, but were not eligible. 3) Movie Night - The next movie night is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, August 27th. We discussed purchasing a BlueRay player to alleviate some of the set-up issues showing the movie. No decision was made on what movie to show at this last movie event of the season. 4) Dancing on the Bridge - Bruce asked for input on continuing our participation in Dancing on the Bridge. We make very little money, but it is good for the event to have a variety of booths. A decision was made to continue. Bruce will be looking for volunteers to help with set-up, tear-down, purchasing our product (ice cream/hot chocolate), and to man the booth. Contact Bruce if you would like to help. 5) Equipment - Tom and Glenn provided a sample of rope for pyramid lines and handles. Thanks to all that helped refinishing skis - they came out great and the club logo affixed to the top makes them our own. 6) Show Dock - Question came up about new carpet on the dock. We will be costing out replacement for next season. 7) Swimmers on Show Dock - Fred reported that the issue of swimmers at the beach using the show dock to swim from, dive, jump, etc came up at the LMPOA Board Meeting. If you see this occurring, please explain that it is unsafe and against lake rules since outside the swim area. You may also call Security. It is acceptable for the dock to be used by people fishing or sunbathing. Please set a good example by not swimming or jumping off the dock, swimming outside the swim area, or allowing your children to do so.

. 9) Grills for Luau - Dave Daniels is coordinating obtaining grills for the Luau to cook our main dish. Options and cost were discussed. Meeting adjourned at 8:50pm |
