Below is a list of some FUN upcoming ski club activities! Ski Club Nights at the Firehouse Grille-- Join fellow Ski Club members at the Firehouse Grille on Tuesday nights! We usually show up anytime after 6:00pm and hang out on the deck of the Firehouse to eat wings, dollar burgers, etc. All are welcome! Chippewa Lake Ski Show, THIS Wednesday, June 24th—Join Lake Mohawk Ski Club Members at 7:00pm at Emerald Lake (near Barberton) to watch the Chippewa Lake Ski Show perform! The show starts at 7:00pm and we will all meet there to get pumped up for our own show on July 3rd! Join us to watch some awesome ski-show stunts! Directions to Emerald Lake:
77 to 224 West
West on 224 to the Barber Road Exit
Turn left at the exit
Go to the light - Clarkmill Road and turn left
Go 9/10 mile to a gravel drive on the right (just before the overpass bridge)
You cannot see the lake from the road. (The Chippewa Lake Ski Team will be having shows every Wednesday-- so if you can't make it this week-- you can definitely head out to Emerald Lake another time) Mark your Calendar for Thursday, July 2nd 6:00pm - MANDATORY DRESS REHEARSAL FOR ALL SKI SHOW PARTICIPANTS! We will be running through the show ONCE-so the practice should not last more than one and 1/2 hours and we can all go home for picnics, family events, and parties. Set up for the show run-through will begin at 5:00pm, so if you can get down early to help pull in the swimming ropes, set out equipment, etc.—your help will be much appreciated! Ski Club Movie Night -- July 4th at the Main Beach starting at dusk. The Ski Club will be presenting the movie Independence Day. Ski Club "Breakfast At The Beach" - July 5th at 9:00am. We will be having a breakfast potluck down at the main beach. Please bring a breakfast dish to share and a beverage of your choice. If you would like to bring something that needs to be cooked at the beach, we will have the grills fired up and ready to go! Potluck (at the Peshinas?)-- July 18th starting at 6:00pm. We (The Peshinas) will be happy to host this potluck. (We LOVE to do it!) However, there have been other families that have expressed an interest in hosting sometime this summer. If you are interested in hosting this month's potluck-- please let me know ASAP and I will send out an e-mail to the club. If no one else is interested in hosting during July and would prefer to do one later in the summer, we will be happy to have everyone over to our house. |
