Saturday Practices
Practice for the next few weeks will be informal.  I'll send an e-mail if we plan on working on specific acts at a practice so all participants can be present.

This past weekend saw a busy lake with many boats tied off to the dock and people swimming and diving from the dock both on the weekend and during the week.  As a result, the show dock became completely detached from its anchoring system on Wednesday and was happily floating away to points north.  We tied it off last night - thanks to Fred, Jack, Matt, and the two teenage boys at the beach that put their backs to the task.  The dock is by no means secure and will need work to reattach the achors.  We'll use the practice time on Saturday at 9am to work on the dock with some skiing thrown in afterward as time allows; specifically dock starts for kids and shoulder starts for teenagers.

Don't forget to ski, ski, ski whenever you can.  Saturday mornings don't provide enough practice to become an experienced skier - water time is the key - and it's fun!
